In thee name of Love. . .

Oh 2011.. You were good to me!

So when I sit back and think about 2011 and all of thee crazy things that took place I can’t help but giggle…. My life seriously took crazy turns this past year… Some hard, some cool, some sad, some amazing… Here it goes…

This past year I got to know Jesus on a whole new level… I was able to see for myself how good and faithful He is… I grew in confidence, boldness, wisdom, love, and just as a person. I traveled around showing thee love of God to people all over… Went on my first of many ministry adventure, my first ever mission trip (life changing), and even read through and studied thee whole bible! Bananas! I graduated from a discipleship program with 6 of thee most amazing people I’ve ever met… And then I was blessed with thee opportunity to work at my church for thee program as a leader/intern to thee next generation of graduates…. Awesome!

In 2011 I finally became an adult…. Learning to do things for myself, provide for myself, and even pay my own phone bill… Yikes! God has blessed me so much to be able to be 19 and never struggle financially and always have all of my needs and more… And better yet, thee ability to do for others… I moved out of my parents house officially and really learned what it feels like to not be a kid anymore… But are you ready for thee big shabang….. I took custody of my 12 year old brother! If that doesn’t make you learn to be an adult, I dont know what will! My little brother has changed my life in many ways… He has taught me how to truly love someone with everything in me… I’ve watched him grow up in an unstable life and I feel privileged to be able to give him real love and stability… It is definitely a big change when you go to sleep one night a 19 year old girl dependent on others and only worried about her needs, then wake up thee next morning a 19 year old parent of a 12 year old boy! I feel honored that God trusted me with that and blessed to be able to even do it…

In 2011 I got to travel thee west coast working for Microsoft and other big companies… It was so awesome to see all thee different places, stay at awesome hotels, and gain so much work experience…. Ya that was definitely a great experience of thee year!

My favorite moment of 2011 would definitely be getting engaged to Nathaniel Richardson Jr… One moment, one night, one guy, one ring, and one promise, changed thee path of thee rest of my life…. Ooooh yesss!

Now I have so much to look forward to in 2012…

I will become an aunt to 2 beautiful baby girls from my older brother Boo and little brobie Donny…

I will start college, FINALLY, and work towards my future career…

I will buy my first car, brand spankin new, and move into a beautiful home. Which will be 1,500sq ft minimum… It’s a must…

I will marry thee man of my dreams… Become a Mrs and start my new life, new location, new last name, all new…..

Most importantly, I will love Thee Lord My God with all my soul, all that is within me. …

I can’t wait to see what God does in my life through all of this… He gave me such an amazing 2011 and I am so stoked for thee 2012…
